Outdoor Scouting Competition 2026

Outdoor is an incident hike, putting teams of 4-7 scouts out in the countryside, testing their map skills, teamwork and endurance along the way. Scouts will be given an arrival time and given the opportunity to plan their route and have a kit check before setting out to prove themselves.

This event is primary an incident hike, with challenges along the way, however also running as a competition, the winners of these event for Durham City Scouts will go onto the leaderboard to win this years District Scout Trophy.
