Expedition Training Weekend

This weekend is an expedition training weekend. If you are doing expeditions with the District we expect you to attend this weekend so we can have confidence in your abilities and you can have confidence in your own navigation abilities.

Even if you have attended this weekend before we expect that you attend this one too, as it will be a refresher for your navigation skills, and if you have moved onto Gold we will be teaching a higher level of navigation skills for you to be able to complete the Gold award expedition.

Anyone wishing to do their expedition with the District and do not attend this weekend, will need to discuss this with the leadership team, they will also be discussed within that team as to whether we are prepared to risk putting them out on expedition without the training.
