At Scouts, all of our volunteers help to shape young people’s lives for the better. Just as our young people appreciate, and look up to their leaders and role models, we want our volunteers to know just how amazing they are too.

Informal thanks are a great way to recognise a particular volunteer – and help to highlight the awesome local volunteering that can go unnoticed.
Nominate Locally
Lead Volunteers can present a local Commendation Award to recognise good service.

National Awards
National awards for good service can be submitted through My Membership.
The Scouts website has an explanation of each award, the criteria and how to submit.
