Training

A new independent learning unit, part of the Leadership and Management Training, has been added to the e-learning page which can be accessed HERE

Mandatory Safeguarding Training

I will be delivering a mandatory safeguarding training session on Saturday 23rd September from 10am to 12 noon at 1st Herrington Scout HQ.

This training is for experienced leaders and needs to be updated every 5 years. For leaders whose last update was on-line, the next needs to be face-to-face. The link to the on-line booking system is:

https://www.durhamscouts.org.uk/booking/training/courses.php?type=safeguarding

Please note that the training has been updated and is therefore different from previous face-to face training; the on-line training has not yet been updated - this is due to happen although we do not have a date yet.

I would appreciate if you would pass this info on to any leaders who need to update.

Sheila
